And he's gone....

We dropped Justin off at the MTC in Provo on Wednesday January 11th at 12:40.  We first parked in the parking lot across the street so we could have a few more minutes with him.  We got out of our car and started taking pictures.  A nice lady asked if we wanted her to take a family picture.  We said yes.

It wasn't soon after that when we felt like the final goodbyes were here.  Kyle cried.  Kelsie cried.  Julia cried.  Kaylee cried. And of course, I cried.  I've been crying since I woke up that morning.  Then Justin said "well, let's go".  I'm sure he was anxious to get in there.  So we then got back in our car and headed to the entrance of the MTC.  We pulled up on the long side walk with all the cute wonderful missionaries looking at us.  We stopped and got out.  Right away his host missionary was there to greet us.  Justin got his luggage and was ready to go.  We gave him one last hug!  Then we watched him walk away.  It lasted only about 2 minutes.  Justin looked very excited and happy.

We will all miss Justin so much.  We are all so happy and proud of him.  I'm so excited for Justin and the things he will accomplish.  He's going to be a fantastic missionary!  We are so blessed to have such a wonderful example in our family.

As we drove away, all the missionaries on the curb waved and smiled at us.  The one thing we noticed about all the missionaries there was that they all looked so happy.  That made me feel better.  We love you Justin!
